Role: Sales Manager (Motor) – Agency channel

Location: Jogindarnagar, Himachal Pradesh

Purpose of the Role

The position focuses on expanding distribution through POSP agents, driving sales growth, and ensuring customer satisfaction across the agency channel.

Responsibilities

• Meet potential POSP agents in respective geographical assignments, service existing POS to drive sales growth, handle customer inquiries with speedy resolution, and coordinate with Girnar Insurance HO Team for smooth sales process execution.
• Create offline training and servicing process for the POSP.
• Be familiar with local agent network.
• Achieve monthly sales target numbers.
• Be a highly motivated individual capable of driving channel ownership; traveling can be frequent.
• Have insurance background with hands‑on experience in agency vertical within a general insurance company or brokerage firm.
• Manage relationships with customers.
• Identify and communicate customer needs.
• Ensure customer satisfaction.
• Develop and implement marketing strategies to grow the customer base.

Qualifications

• Graduation degree in any stream and strong communication skills.
• Aware of Motor & General Insurance and zealous to be a pro in Sales.
• Experience from 1 to 3 years.
• Looking for fast growth in a challenging environment and willing to work hard.
• Proficiency and fluency in English; knowledge of local languages preferred.
