The ideal candidate will have a graduation degree, experience in sales, and proficiency in English along with local languages. This role requires strong communication skills and a proactive approach. Frequent travel may be necessary.

Sales Manager (Motor) – Agency channel

Purpose of the role

Meet potential POSP agents in respective geographical assignments and service existing POS to drive sales growth. Handle customer inquiries with speedy, satisfactory resolution and coordinate with Girnar Insurance HO Team for smooth execution of the sales process.

Responsibilities

• Create offline training and servicing process for the POSP.
• Know local agent network.
• Achieve monthly sales target numbers.
• Be a highly motivated individual who can drive the channel with ownership. Travelling can be frequent.
• Be from an insurance background with hands‑on experience in agency vertical in a general insurance company or insurance brokerage firm.
• Managing relationships with customers.
• Identifying and communicating customer needs.
• Ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Developing and implementing marketing strategies to grow the customer base.

Qualifications

• Graduation degree in any stream with strong communication skills.
• Some awareness of motor & general insurance and zeal to be a pro in sales.
• Experience from 1 to 3 years.
• Looking for fast growth in a challenging environment and willing to work hard.
• Proficiency and fluency in English, and any other local language preferable.
