The Sales Manager is responsible for driving overall revenue growth by leading the sales team, developing strategies, and ensuring consistent achievement of business targets. This role requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and deep understanding of hospitality sales.
Key Responsibilities
1. Sales Strategy & Revenue Growth
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets
- Identify new business opportunities across corporate, events, travel, and group segments
- Drive occupancy and event bookings through proactive sales initiatives
- Lead, mentor, and manage the sales team
- Set targets, monitor performance, and ensure goal achievement
- Conduct regular reviews and training sessions
3. Client Acquisition & Relationship Management
- Build strong relationships with corporate clients, travel agents, and event planners
- Manage key accounts and ensure repeat business
- Conduct high-level client meetings and negotiations
- Analyze market trends, competitor strategies, and pricing
- Identify new revenue streams and market segments
- Represent the brand in networking events and exhibitions
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or Hospitality
- 5+ years of experience in sales (hospitality preferred)
- Strong leadership, negotiation, and analytical skills
- Target-driven with excellent communication abilities
