Job summary

Your TA Partner in Chennai is seeking a dynamic sales professional to generate leads, follow up inquiries, and convert prospects into orders in our regional market. You will engage with customers, consultants, and contractors, present technical demonstrations, prepare techno-commercial offers, and coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth project execution.

This role requires robust relationship building, timely reporting to the Sales Manager, and diligent CRM/ERP updates to support

Responsibilities

• Generate leads, follow up on inquiries, and convert prospects into successful orders.
• Meet or exceed sales targets in the assigned region/segment.
• Engage with customers, consultants, and contractors to understand technical and commercial requirements.
• Prepare and deliver technical presentations, product demonstrations, and client meetings.
• Support in preparation and submission of techno-commercial offers, quotations, and tender documentation.
• Coordinate with internal Estimation & Design teams for accurate proposals.
• Collect competitor intelligence, pricing trends, and market demand to support strategic planning.
• Participate in exhibitions, trade fairs, and technical seminars to enhance brand visibility.
• Act as a liaison between customers and internal departments (Production, Design, Quality, Service) for smooth project execution.
• Monitor delivery schedules, coordinate logistics, and support installation as per commitments.
• Follow up on payments and ensure closure of commercial transactions.
• Build and maintain strong long-term relationships with key accounts and consultants.
• Provide after-sales support, including technical assistance and resolving customer issues.
• Gather customer feedback to improve product quality and service levels.
• Maintain and update sales reports, order status, pipeline forecasts, and customer interactions.
• Ensure timely reporting to the Sales Manager on sales performance and market developments.
• Update CRM/ERP systems with lead and order information.
