Job summary

Sytco Engineers (Latur MIDC) manufactures industrial brakes, clutches, torque limiters and related components. As a Sales Engineer, you will operate from the Latur office handling inside sales, technical offers, and customer support for OEMs in wind energy, cranes, and steel sectors.

You will reply to inquiries the same day, prepare quotes from drawings, and coordinate with production and dispatch to ensure on-time delivery. Relocation assistance is available for candidates moving to Latur.

Qualifications

• Read engineering drawings and prepare clear technical offers.
• Excellent written English and ability to handle 40–50 customer emails daily.
• Ability to coordinate with production and dispatch to meet delivery commitments.

Responsibilities

• Receive and reply to customer enquiries and RFQs the same day.
• Prepare technical offers from customer specifications and drawings.
• Confirm delivery dates and track orders from work order to dispatch.
• Answer technical questions on product selection, ratings and drawings.
• Update customer portals (Ariba, SAP vendor portals) and our ERP.
• Coordinate daily with production and dispatch to keep commitments.

Role & responsibilities

Sytco Engineers (Latur MIDC, 35+ years) manufactures industrial brakes, clutches, torque limiters, couplings and brake motors for OEM customers in wind energy, cranes, steel and material handling.

As Sales Engineer you will work from our Latur office to:

• Receive and reply to customer enquiries and RFQs the same working day
• Prepare technical offers and quotations from customer specifications and drawings
• Confirm delivery dates and follow each purchase order through to work order and dispatch
• Answer customer technical questions on product selection, ratings and drawings
• Update customer portals (Ariba, SAP vendor portals) and our ERP
• Coordinate daily with production and dispatch so that commitments made to customers are kept
  This is an inside-sales / application role. No field sales or travel targets.

Preferred candidate profile

• Diploma or B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
• 1 to 5 years in inside sales, application engineering, sales coordination or technical sales support at a manufacturer of industrial or electrical equipment (pumps, valves, motors, switchgear, bearings, automation, auto components or similar).
• Can read an engineering drawing and prepare a clear technical offer
• Good written English; comfortable handling 40-50 customer emails a day
• Working knowledge of Excel; ERP/CRM exposure is a plus
• Based in Latur, or from Marathwada / Solapur / Pune region and willing to relocate to Latur
