Job summary

Shavish Group in India is seeking an experienced Technical Sales Executive specializing in OEM accounts to drive quotations, order follow-up, and new business development across engineering or auto components.

You will coordinate from RFQ to PPAP, protect cash flow, maintain CRM, and present regular forecasts to management, with proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, ERP systems, and strong English/Hindi/Marathi communication and willingness to travel domestically.

Qualifications

  • 3–6 years of OEM, institutional or B2B technical sales experience in engineering or auto components.
  • Working knowledge of product costing, RFQ evaluation and commercial terms.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint, ERP usage and OEM supplier portals.
  • Fluent in English and Hindi/Marathi, and willing to travel domestically.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and submit quotations against OEM RFQs validating drawings, material, process route, tooling and lead time with Engineering and Costing so offers are accurate, profitable and on time, measured by quotation turnaround, hit rate and realised vs. quoted margin.
  • Manage day-to day OEM account activity order acknowledgement, schedule confirmation, despatch follow-up, rate revisions, packaging and complaint resolution so the customer's line is never stopped, measured by customer rating, on-time delivery and nil escalations.
  • Coordinate new part development from RFQ through sampling to PPAP and first-article approval with Engineering, Tool Room and Quality so new business reaches start of production on schedule, measured by NPD-milestone adherence and first-time sample approval.
  • Develop new OEM customers and expand share of business at existing accounts through regular visits, technical presentations and follow-up on open opportunities, measured by new part numbers awarded, new accounts opened and revenue growth.
  • Track receivables, debit notes, rejections and price settlements with OEM purchase and finance teams to protect cash flow and margin, measured by days sales outstanding and value of unsettled claims.
  • Maintain sales MIS, rolling forecast and CRM records for assigned accounts and report them to management so production planning and capacity decisions are reliable, measured by forecast accuracy against actual offtake.

Preferred candidate profile

1. B.E. / B.Tech (Mechanical, Automobile or Production).

2. 3-6 years of OEM, institutional or B2B technical sales experience in engineering or auto components.

3. Working knowledge of product costing, RFQ evaluation and commercial terms.

4.Proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint, ERP usage and OEM supplier portals.

5.Fluent in English and Hindi / Marathi, and willing to travel domestically.
