Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Sales Assistant – Export Sales role based in Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar. The role involves supporting the export sales team with order processing, preparing quotations, and maintaining accurate sales records and documentation. The Sales Assistant will coordinate with logistics and production teams for shipment planning, ensuring timely dispatch and compliance with export requirements. Daily responsibilities include handling customer inquiries, following up on leads, assisting with contract preparation, and updating internal systems and reports. The role also includes basic market research, monitoring customer feedback, and helping improve sales processes and customer service for international clients.

Qualifications

• Strong sales support and customer service skills, with the ability to manage inquiries, follow up with clients, and maintain professional relationships with international buyers.
• Proficiency in documentation and administration, including order processing, record-keeping, and basic understanding of export procedures and shipping documentation.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English; knowledge of additional languages relevant to export markets is an advantage.
• Basic analytical and organizational skills to support market research, monitor sales data, and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfort with MS Office tools and other business software; experience with CRM or ERP systems related to sales or export operations is beneficial.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Commerce, International Trade, or a related field preferred; relevant experience in export sales or agro commodities is an added advantage.
