Responsibilities

• End-to-End Recruitment: manage recruitment from manpower requisition to candidate joining.
• Technical & Heavy Engineering Hiring: recruit for Mechanical/Production Engineering, Fabrication & Welding, Quality & Inspection, Electrical & Instrumentation, Project Engineering, and related roles.
• Direct Sourcing & Talent Mapping: identify candidates via LinkedIn, Naukri, job portals, social media, referrals, databases, and industry mapping.
• Candidate Screening & Assessment: perform preliminary screening based on technical experience, location, compensation, and notice period.
• Interview & Selection Management: coordinate technical and HR interviews with stakeholders and ensure timely feedback.

Job description

To manage end-to-end recruitment for technical, engineering, production, project, maintenance, quality, and corporate positions in a heavy engineering/manufacturing environment. The role will focus on direct sourcing, technical candidate identification, stakeholder coordination, interview management, offer closure, and ensuring timely joining of selected candidates.

Key Responsibilities

1. End-to-End Recruitment

• Manage recruitment from Manpower Requisition to Candidate Joining.
• Understand manpower requirements, job specifications, experience, skills, and competency requirements.
• Source and screen candidates for engineering, production, projects, quality, maintenance, design, sales, and support functions.
• Maintain a strong pipeline for critical and recurring positions.

2. Technical & Heavy Engineering Hiring

Recruit for positions related to:

• Mechanical / Production Engineering
• Fabrication & Welding
• Pressure Vessels / Boilers
• Process Equipment
• Heavy Machinery / Presses
• Quality & Inspection
• Maintenance
• Electrical & Instrumentation
• Project Engineering
• Design / Draughtsman
• Erection & Commissioning
• Sales & Project Management
• Develop an understanding of engineering processes, manufacturing terminology, equipment, and technical skill requirements.

3. Direct Sourcing & Talent Mapping

• Identify candidates through LinkedIn, Naukri, job portals, social media, employee referrals, databases, industry mapping, and headhunting.
• Build talent pools for niche and difficult-to-hire positions.
• Map competitors, target companies, industries, and relevant talent pools.
• Reduce dependency on recruitment consultants through effective direct sourcing.

4. Candidate Screening & Assessment

• Conduct preliminary screening based on technical experience, industry exposure, location, compensation, notice period, and career movement.
• Evaluate candidate suitability against the approved Job Description.
• Share quality and relevant CVs with hiring managers.
• Maintain candidate records and recruitment MIS.

5. Interview & Selection Management

• Coordinate technical and HR interviews with stakeholders.
• Schedule interviews and ensure timely candidate feedback.
• Follow up with candidates and hiring managers throughout the selection process.
• Maintain candidate engagement, particularly for critical and senior positions.
