Job summary

Tata Projects in NCR/Gurugram is seeking an experienced Billing Engineer / Quantity Surveyor to manage client billing, quantify take-offs, subcontractor billing, and cost control for large-scale building and infrastructure projects.

You will prepare invoices, track variation claims, assist cash flow forecasting, implement costing processes, and coordinate with site and planning teams to ensure accurate bill certification.

Qualifications

• Experience in billing and QS activities for large-scale building/infrastructure projects.
• Involves client billing, quantity estimation, subcontractor billing, cost control, and forecasting.
• Familiar with BOQ preparation, take-offs, variation claims, and cash flow projection.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly client invoices as per contract terms and process subcontractor/vendor bills.
• Perform quantity take-offs from drawings and estimate project costs.
• Track, record, and prepare variation claims arising from design or specification changes.
• Support project cash flow planning and forecasting activities.
• Implement project costing, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
• Manage the complete subcontract billing and payment cycle.
• Verify quantities with actual site measurements and maintain billing accuracy.
• Coordinate with project, planning, and site teams for timely bill certification and cost monitoring.
