Job summary

Apex Construction is seeking a senior Quantity Surveyor with 10-15 years of experience in the construction industry to lead costing, billing, and tendering activities. The role requires strong analytical, negotiation, and coordination skills, along with proficiency in MS Excel and QS software.

You will prepare BOQs, cost estimates, verify RA and subcontractor bills, monitor budgets, and manage variations across projects.

Qualifications

• 10-15 years of experience in Quantity Surveying in the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of BOQ, Billing, Estimation, Rate Analysis, Tendering & Cost Control.
• Good experience in Client/Subcontractor Billing, Variations & Final Accounts.
• Proficient in MS Excel and QS-related software.
• Strong analytical, negotiation and coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare BOQ, quantity take-off, and detailed cost estimates based on drawings and specifications.
• Prepare and verify RA Bills, subcontractor bills, and client billing.
• Conduct rate analysis, material reconciliation, and cost calculations.
• Monitor project costs, budgets, and cost variations throughout the project.
• Prepare and evaluate tenders, quotations, and comparative statements.
• Verify site measurements and ensure quantities are as per BOQ and actual execution.
• Identify and manage variation, extra items, and deviation works.
• Coordinate with Project Manager, Site Engineers, Planning, Procurement, and Accounts teams.
• Maintain proper records of measurements, bills, BOQ, contracts, and supporting documents.
• Assist in contract administration, claims, final billing, and project close-out.
