Job summary

Jetstar Innovations Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a Purchase Executive to manage procurement activities for engineering, production, and operational requirements. The role involves vendor coordination, quotation comparison, purchase follow-up, and timely availability of materials.

The candidate should have any graduation with preferred B.Tech / Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering and good MS Office/Excel skills. This is an on-site role based in Surat, Gujarat.

Qualifications

• Graduate with sourcing and procurement exposure preferred.
• B.Tech or Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify and evaluate suppliers for engineering and operational needs.
• Obtain quotations, compare prices and terms, support decision making.
• Prepare and process purchase invoices, orders, and GRNs as per requirements.
• Coordinate with vendors for delivery schedules, quality and docs.
• Follow up on pending POs and ensure timely material availability.
• Coordinate with stores, production, service and accounts on procurement.
• Maintain purchase records, vendor data, quotations, and status.
• Support vendor development and cost-effective procurement initiatives.

• Obtain quotations, compare prices and commercial terms, and support purchase decisions.
• Prepare and process purchase invoices, purchase orders, and GRNs as per approved requirements.
• Coordinate with vendors for delivery schedules, quality, and documentation.
• Follow up on pending purchase orders and ensure timely material availability.
• Coordinate with stores, production, service, and accounts teams regarding procurement requirements.
• Maintain purchase records, vendor data, quotations, and order status.
• Support vendor development and cost-effective procurement initiatives.

Qualification:
