Job summary

Rodec Pharma in India is seeking a procurement professional to manage the purchase of raw materials and packaging. The role involves sourcing quotations, negotiating with vendors and coordinating with multiple departments to ensure timely supply and accurate records.

The successful candidate will demonstrate strong communication, organizational skills and experience in pharma/manufacturing environments, with proficiency in MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

Qualifications

• Good knowledge of purchase/procurement process.
• Strong vendor coordination and negotiable skills.
• Good communication and follow-up skills.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Well organized, proactive and detail oriented.
• Prior experience in Pharma/ Manufacturing industry will be preferred.

Responsibilities

• Handle procurement of raw materials and packaging materials as per production requirements.
• Source quotations, prepare comparative statements and negotiate with vendors.
• Coordinate with vendors for price, quality, delivery and timely supply.
• Generate Purchase Orders and maintain purchase related records.
• Coordinate with other departments for procurement activities.
• Maintain vendor database and follow up on pending orders.
• Provide administrative and coordination support to MD.
