Job summary

Kuloday Technopack is seeking a procurement professional in Mumbai to manage sourcing, vendor onboarding, and material planning for manufacturing operations. You will liaise with suppliers, review technical datasheets, and coordinate with stores and logistics to ensure on-time material delivery.

The role requires strong negotiation skills, familiarity with ERP systems (SAP MM, Oracle, or Tally), and the ability to read engineering drawings.

Qualifications

• Ability to read engineering drawings, datasheets, and technical specifications.
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP MM, Oracle, or Tally) and MS Excel.

Responsibilities

• Sourcing and vendor management for technical supplies and raw materials.
• Prepare RFQs, analyze bids, negotiate prices and payment terms.
• Issue POs according to engineering specs and track orders.
• Review datasheets, drawings and specs with internal teams.
• Coordinate inventory, logistics, and lead-time issues.

Role & responsibilities

• Sourcing & Vendor Management: Identify, evaluate, and onboard new vendors for technical supplies and raw materials. Maintain updated vendor records and evaluate performance based on cost, quality, and delivery timelines.
• RFQ & Commercial Negotiation: Prepare Requests for Quotation (RFQs), analyze technical and commercial bids, compare quotes, and negotiate prices and payment terms to achieve cost savings.
• Purchase Order Management: Issue Purchase Orders (POs) accurately according to engineering specifications, track order acknowledgments, and ensure timely material delivery.
• Technical Coordination: Review technical datasheets, engineering drawings, and specifications with internal design or production teams before placing orders.
• Inventory & Logistics Tracking: Coordinate with store teams, logistics providers, and vendors to resolve lead-time issues, delivery delays, or rejected incoming materials.
• Documentation & Compliance: Maintain purchasing logs, update ERP system entries (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Tally), and process invoices for accounting and payment approvals.
