Job summary

TVS Motor Company is seeking a role focused on planning and policy management to drive LRP targets, MPCP deployment, and NPD project delivery. You will coordinate with NPD planning and cross-functional teams to implement strategic initiatives and ensure timely reviews and ECM reporting.

The role emphasizes planning, tracking, and governance across product development and manufacturing processes, with emphasis on data-driven decisions and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Identify LRP targets for section and identify key actions (Innovation, Customer Insights, Analytics, Digital).
• Periodically track & review key initiatives required to improve the LRP progress.
• Assist program manager to create, review 12 Quarter product plan for respective segment.
• Support Program manager for achieving policy targets by establishing, deploying targets.
• Collaborate with NPD planning and functional teams to interface & implement projects.
• Conduct monthly reviews and submit ECM reports to NPD planning/HOD.
• Prepare detailed activity planning for each project milestone & integrate function plans.
• Track & monitor – project activities and investments; timely reporting to stakeholders.

Purpose of the role

Planning & tracking of LRP, Policy, MPCP targets & deployment of NPD, regulation & EIR projects delivery.

Product planning, exploring new initiatives aligning to LRP (Innovation, Customer insights, Analytics, Digital)

Role Description

• Identify LRP targets for section and identify key actions (Innovation, Customer Insights, Analytics, Digital)

• Periodically track & review key initiatives required to improve the LRP progress
• Assist program manager to create, review 12 Quarter product plan for respective segment

B. Policy management

• Support Program manager for achieving policy targets by establishing, deploying targets and establishing system for implementation and review
• Collaborate with NPD planning, functional teams to interface & implement NPD projects, Dept wide initiatives & learnings
• Conduct monthly reviews and submit ECM reports to NPD planning/HOD
• Conduct periodic diagnosis of projects / Section targets for continuous improvement
• Prepare / revise managing points and checkpoints for each accountability area for Program Manager
• Conduct periodic reviews of projects, MPCP progress and other key initiatives and maintain records
• Submit MPCP reports along with policy targets in ECM
• Support team to prepare for schedule B audit, QMS audit & DWM audits
• Prepare detailed activity planning for each project milestone & integrate function plans
• Track & monitor – project activities (Thro IT Systems)
• Track & monitor - project Investments
• Timely project reporting to stakeholders; maintain documentary records & facilitate NPD process adherance
