Job summary

TVS Motor in Hosur is seeking a Project Manager to lead new product introductions, upgrades, and variant development for domestic and international markets.

You will coordinate cross-functional teams across design, engineering, supply chain, and quality to ensure QCD targets are met while aligning with customer segments and business goals.

The role requires strong NPD experience, 10-15 years BE plus 7-10 years PG, and the ability to manage project gates, risk, and budgets.

Qualifications

• BE with 10-15 years of experience in related fields.
• Post-graduate qualification (PG) 7-10 years experience.
• Experience in NPD (New Product Development) area.

Responsibilities

• Create and develop new products and upgrades per NPI process for domestic and international markets.
• Align project plans to customer segments and business requirements.
• Ensure customer satisfaction by delivering target quality and improving NPS.
• Achieve target material cost and improve contribution of products.
• Engg change management tracking and approvals from Design APEX body / stakeholders.
• Arrive product concept in terms of QCD; deploy cost, quality targets at system and part levels.
• Stakeholder management across RD, Quality, Production engineering, supply chain, Marketing, Service.
• Adopt digital dashboards for project QCD status and transparency.
• Project budget, resource estimation, planning and control; complete project gates with approvals.
• Deliver project ramp-up with help from project CFT.
