Job summary

Essar Minmet in Mumbai seeks a Senior Project Leader to helm the Steel Melting Plant project from conception to commissioning. You will own scope, budget and schedule, coordinating engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning, including EAF/LF and casting interfaces.

Ideal candidates have 15–25 years in steel/ metals/ heavy engineering projects, strong EPC contractor management, and leadership of large multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• 15-25 years total professional experience.
• Strong experience in steel, metals, heavy engineering, EPC or large industrial projects.
• Experience in greenfield/brownfield projects preferred.
• Demonstrated experience managing large multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong EPC contractor and technology supplier management experience.
• Experience in commissioning and plant ramp-up is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of industrial HSE requirements.
• Willingness to work from Mumbai/Navi Mumbai and travel to project sites as required.
• Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.
• Proven track record of delivering large-scale projects within schedule, budget and quality requirements.

Responsibilities
