Job summary

Essar Minmet in Mumbai/Navi Mumbai is seeking a Senior Production Leader to drive safe, reliable, and cost-efficient operations on large industrial projects. You will oversee planning, shift management, and cross-functional coordination to meet quality targets.

The ideal candidate will have 15–25 years’ experience in steel/metals/heavy engineering, with EPC contractor management and plant ramp-up experience. Strong HSE knowledge and stakeholder communication are essential.

Qualifications

• 15–25 years of total professional experience.
• Strong experience in steel, metals, heavy engineering, EPC or large industrial projects.
• Experience in greenfield/brownfield projects preferred.
• Demonstrated experience managing large multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong EPC contractor and technology supplier management experience.
• Experience in commissioning and plant ramp-up highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of industrial HSE requirements.
• Willingness to work from Mumbai/Navi Mumbai and travel to project sites.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.
