Job summary

Responsibilities

• Lead balance of plant (BOP) project execution including utilities and supporting infra.
• Coordinate EPC contractors and vendors to ensure on-time delivery.
• Oversee scope, cost, schedule and quality management for projects.
• Manage interfaces with core process plants and project interfaces.
• Lead risk and change management and report performance to senior management.
• Coordinate commissioning and integrated trial operations.

Role Purpose

Lead Balance of Plant project execution, ensuring timely delivery of utilities and supporting infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead BOP engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning.
• Manage water, cooling, compressed air, gas, utility and auxiliary systems.
• Coordinate multiple EPC contractors and vendors.
• Manage project scope, cost, schedule and quality.
• Coordinate engineering and procurement.
• Monitor construction and resolve bottlenecks.
• Manage interfaces with core process plants.
• Lead project risk and change management.
• Coordinate commissioning and integrated trial operation.
• Report project performance to senior management.

The ideal candidates should have:

• 15 - 25 years of total professional experience.
• Strong experience in steel, metals, heavy engineering, EPC or large industrial projects.
• Experience in greenfield/brownfield projects will be preferred.
• Demonstrated experience managing large multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong EPC contractor and technology supplier management experience.
• Experience in commissioning and plant ramp-up is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of industrial HSE requirements.
• Willingness to work from Mumbai/Navi Mumbai and travel to project sites as required.
• Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.
• Proven track record of delivering large-scale projects within schedule, budget and quality requirements.
