Job summary

IKM HVAC Engineering Pvt Ltd is seeking a Project Document Control Engineer (DCC) with 5–7 years of experience to manage project documentation, control revisions and keep logs up to date. The role requires handling electrical drawings, P&IDs, data sheets, and submittals with strong organizational skills.

Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office/SharePoint is preferred, along with good communication and time management abilities to support engineering project delivery.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree in E&I, EEE, or Control Systems.
• 5–7 years of relevant experience in document control for engineering projects.
• Strong communication, organization and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage project documentation with tracking and version control.
• Handle engineering drawings, schematics, P&IDs, and datasheets.
• Maintain document numbering, filing systems and logs.
• Keep EPMS, SMDL, drawing registers and submittal logs up to date.
• Track revisions and changes to drawings and documents.
• Coordinate with vendors for technical submittals and documents.

POSITION: PROJECT DOCUMENT CONTROL ENGINEER(DCC)

CODE: DCC-0926

QUALIFICATION: Engineering Degree in E&I, EEE, or Control Systems.

EXPERIENCE: 5 to 7 Years

Good communication, organizational, and time management skills are preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Experience with document handling, Tracking and Version Control:

• Engineering Drawings, Electrical schematics, GAD, Block diagram, Termination diagram, Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs, Loop Diagrams), Cable Schedules, Datasheets, and Test Reports (FAT, SAT), IOM, etc.,
• Technical Submittals and Vendor Documents
• Maintain document numbering and a structured filing system.
• Maintaining Supplier Master Document List (SMDL) and Engineering Project Master Schedule (EPMS) documents
• Maintaining Drawing Registers, Submittal Logs and Correspondence Logs
• Tracking revisions and changes made to drawings and documents.

Software & Tools Experience:

• Working experience in AutoCAD
• Proficiency in MS Office tools such as SharePoint, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
