About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Production Engineer with experience in a manufacturing plant. The candidate will be responsible for managing day to day production activities, ensuring production targets are achieved, maintaining quality standards, optimizing manufacturing processes, and minimizing production waste.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and monitor daily production activities to meet production targets.
• Ensure smooth and efficient operation of manufacturing processes and equipment.
• Monitor production output, productivity, quality, and process efficiency.
• Coordinate with maintenance, quality, stores, and other departments to ensure uninterrupted production.
• Identify production issues and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Monitor raw material consumption and minimize material wastage and implement effective waste management and reduction practices.
• Maintain production records, reports, and relevant manufacturing documentation.
• Support project planning and production planning activities.
• Ensure compliance with company safety procedures and manufacturing standards.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement, cost reduction, and productivity enhancement.
• Train and guide production operators and ensure adherence to standard operating procedures .
• Ensure housekeeping and 5S standards are maintained on the shop floor

Candidate Requirements

• Diploma/B.E./B.Tech/ in Mechanical, Production, Industrial Engineering, Civil or any related field.
• 6 + years of hands-on experience in a manufacturing plant.
• Experience in roofing sheet, PUF/PIR sheet manufacturing, or similar sheet manufacturing processes is required.
• Practical knowledge of production planning and shop-floor operations.
• Good understanding of manufacturing processes, quality control, and production efficiency.
• Ability to manage production activities and coordinate with cross-functional teams.
