Job summary

Argon Amusement Rides Pvt Ltd in Bhuj, Gujarat is seeking a hands-on Production Supervisor to oversee daily fabrication, assembly, painting and finishing on the shop floor. You will ensure targets are met, monitor material availability, maintain quality checks and coach workers to follow 5S and safety norms while coordinating with stores and procurement to prevent stoppages.

Strong communication, eye for detail and willingness to work in a manufacturing facility in Kachchh are essential traits

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in mechanical/production engineering.
• 13 years of experience in manufacturing or production environments (freshers with internship may apply).
• Basic knowledge of fabrication, sheet metal, assembly or painting processes.
• Good observation skills and attention to detail for quality monitoring.
• Willingness to work on the shop floor in Kachchh, Gujarat.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and coordinate daily production activities across fabrication, assembly, painting, and finishing sections
• Ensure production targets are met as per the schedule set by the Production Manager
• Track raw material and component availability on the floor; raise material requisitions in time to avoid stoppages
• Maintain quality checks at each stage of production welding, assembly, surface finishing and flag non-conformances
• Record daily production data including units completed, material consumed, rework, and downtime
• Assist in onboarding and guiding shop-floor workers on assembly procedures and quality standards
• Ensure the work area is clean, organized, and compliant with safety norms at all times (5S)
• Coordinate with stores and procurement team for timely availability of parts and consumables
• Support the Production Manager in preparing production reports and status updates
• Follow up on pending jobs, rework items, and dispatch readiness of finished units
