Job summary

SV Engineering Products in India is seeking a production planning and shop floor optimization professional to oversee daily production targets, allocate manpower and machines, and plan shifts. The role requires coordinating with stores, design, and purchasing to ensure material availability and on-time sales order fulfillment.

The candidate will implement time studies, drive 5S and lean manufacturing, prepare periodic production plans and MIS reports, and ensure first piece approval before bulk

Responsibilities

• Handle daily production targets.
• Manpower allocation, machine allocation & shift planning.
• Create and maintain PPC plan for on time completion and management of sales orders.
• Manage production.
• Prepare daily/monthly/weekly production plans based on sales order & stock.
• Prepare daily/monthly/weekly production reports and analysis.
• Coordinate with stores, purchase and design for material availability.
• Follow up on RM.
• Conduct time study.
• Make roadmap through time study in order to achieve faster production.
• Maintain daily rejection reports, down time reports, machine utilization reports.
• Resolve bottlenecks on shop floor immediately to avoid line stoppages.
• Conduct daily production meetings with contractors and team.
• Maintain log of actual vs planned production.
• Analyze data to increase productivity-OEE, manpower productivity per shift.
• Prepare MIS reports for management review.
• Ensure first piece approval before bulk production.
• Coordinate with QC.
• Drive 5S, Kaizen, lean manufacturing on shop floor.
