Job summary

Paranjape Autocast invites applications for the position of Sr. Engineer - Fettling at Satara. The role requires 7 to 8 years of hands-on experience in Fettling and related production activities, with a background in B.Sc, Diploma or BE Mechanical.

The incumbent will drive production planning, ensure optimal resource use, and supervise operations across Fettling, Painting and Machining while adhering to ISO/TS 16949 standards. Strong vendor coordination and training oversight are essential.

Qualifications

• 7–8 years of experience in mechanical Fettling/production environments.
• Experience in planning and executing production plans with optimal resource use.
• Familiarity with quality systems and ISO/TS 16949 requirements.

Responsibilities

• Production Planning and execution of plans with optimum resource consumption.
• Review of plan execution and take necessary actions.
• Control of non-conformances at Fettling, Painting & Machining.
• Implement 5S activities.
• Conduct daily meetings with in-house and outsourced vendors on Fettling, Painting & Machining production plans.
• Identify and fulfill training needs for Fettling & Machining vendors.
• Approval of vendors for Machining.
• Comply with ISO/TS 16949 requirements.
• Take corrective and preventive actions on rejections.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• 1.Production Planning and execution of the same with optimum consumption of resources.
• 2.Review of execution of plan and necessary action, wherever required.
