Job summary

The Acetech Machinery Components in Coimbatore invites applications for an Engineer / Senior Engineer - Production. The role focuses on planning and executing daily fabrication activities, meeting targets, and ensuring adherence to drawings and specifications.

You will oversee heavy fabrication operations, allocate manpower and resources, coordinate welding QA/QC, and drive process improvements with proper documentation and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience range 3-15 years in fabrication/production environments.
• Strong background in heavy fabrication processes.
• Experience with welding procedures and QA/QC coordination.

Responsibilities

• Plan and monitor daily fabrication activities to achieve production targets, schedules and quality.
• Handle fabrication of heavy structures, pressure vessels, frames, beams as per drawings.
• Allocate manpower and equipment to ensure smooth production flow.
• Coordinate with QA/QC and inspection teams for welding standards and safety.
• Identify bottlenecks, reduce rework and wastage, maintain production reports and materials records.

Designation: Engineer / Senior Engineer - Production

Experience: 3- 15 years

Location : Coimbatore (Kadathr Pirivu), (Chennai- Poonamalle)

Manufacturing: Fabrication & Heavy Fabrication

Production Planning & Execution Plan and monitor daily fabrication activities to achieve production targets, schedules, and quality requirements.

Heavy Fabrication Operations Handle fabrication of heavy structures, pressure vessels, structural components, frames, beams, and other large-scale assemblies as per drawings and specifications.

Manpower & Resource Management Allocate manpower, welding machines, cutting equipment, cranes, tools, and materials effectively to ensure smooth production flow.

Quality, Welding & Safety Ensure compliance with welding procedures, WPS/PQR, dimensional requirements, inspection standards, and HSE/safety procedures; coordinate with QA/QC and inspection teams.

Process Improvement & Documentation Identify bottlenecks, reduce fabrication rework and wastage, improve productivity, and maintain production reports, material records, and daily progress documentation.
