Job summary

Lpsis is seeking a hands-on production professional to manage daily shop-floor activities in a high-precision manufacturing setting in Rohtak, Haryana, India. You will plan, monitor and optimize machining and fastener processes, ensure safety and quality, and drive Kaizen initiatives to improve productivity and reduce costs.

• Strong hands-on shop-floor production experience
• Experience in Machining and/or Fastener Manufacturing
• Fasteners Manufacturing background preferred
• Good problem-solving and team-handling skills

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day shop-floor production activities and achieve production targets.
• Plan and monitor production as per daily/weekly schedules.
• Handle/monitor Machining/ Fastener manufacturing processes.
• For Fasteners: exposure to Cold Forging/Heading, Thread Rolling, Heat Treatment, etc.
• Monitor productivity, rejection, rework, cycle time, downtime and machine utilization.
• Ensure adherence to quality standards, process parameters, safety and 5S.
• Identify production bottlenecks and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Ensure optimum utilization of manpower, machines, tools and materials.
• Coordinate with Quality, PPC, Maintenance, Tool Room and other departments.
• Drive Kaizen, continuous improvement, productivity enhancement and cost reduction initiatives.
• Prepare and maintain production reports, MIS and shop-floor records.
• Monitor and improve OEE, productivity and overall manufacturing efficiency.
• Support new product/process development and process improvement activities, wherever required.
• Ensure compliance with company quality, safety and operational procedures.
