Job summary

Talent Corner Hr Services is seeking a Production & Quality Improvement professional to support daily manufacturing planning and execution. The role focuses on monitoring outputs, implementing lean initiatives, and improving shop-floor processes in a fast-paced environment.

You will analyze production data, read engineering drawings, and collaborate with teams to ensure quality and on-time delivery while adapting to rotational shifts and overtime during peak workloads.

Qualifications

• Experience with planning, production scheduling, and workflow optimization.
• Familiarity with Kaizen, 5S, Poka-Yoke, Lean, and TQM.
• Proficient in reading fabrication drawings.

Responsibilities

• Support daily production planning and timely execution of schedules.
• Monitor production to meet output, quality, cost and delivery targets.
• Analyze processes to identify productivity improvements.
• Implement Kaizen, 5S, Poka-Yoke, Lean and TQM initiatives.
• Study drawings and specifications; develop and improve shop-floor methods.
• Prepare production and downtime reports; analyze performance trends.

Job description

Key Responsibilities

Production Planning & Execution

• Support daily production planning and ensure timely execution of manufacturing schedules.
• Monitor production activities to achieve output, quality, cost, and delivery targets.

Process Improvement & Productivity

• Analyze existing manufacturing processes and identify opportunities for productivity improvement.
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives such as Kaizen, 5S, Poka-Yoke, Lean Manufacturing, and TQM.

Engineering & Technical Support

• Study engineering and fabrication drawings, process requirements, and customer specifications.
• Develop and improve production methods, workflows, and shop-floor processes.

Quality & Safety

• Ensure products are manufactured as per approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
• Support implementation of quality control measures to reduce defects, rework, and rejection.

Reporting & Analysis

• Prepare and maintain production reports, productivity reports, downtime reports, and improvement project records.
• Analyze production performance,rejection trends, and efficiency data.

Training & Development

• Support training of operators and shop-floor personnel on process requirements, safety practices, and productivity improvements.
• Keep updated with new manufacturing technologies, engineering practices, and process improvement methodologies.
• Willingness to work in rotational shifts.
• Ready to work additional hours during production emergencies or peak workloads

Requirements & Skills

• Basic knowledge of manufacturing processes, fabrication, sheet metal operations, and steel products.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering and fabrication drawings.
• Understanding of Lean Manufacturing tools such as Kaizen, 5S, Poka-Yoke, TQM, and Continuous Improvement.
