Job summary

Amartex Industries Ltd. is seeking an experienced Sourcing Procurement Management professional in Panchkula to oversee end-to-end sourcing, vendor development, procurement planning, price negotiation, purchase operations and supplier relationships.

The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of sourcing and procurement within Textile, Apparel, Retail or FMCG sectors, with expertise in negotiating terms, managing budgets, and coordinating cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery and

Qualifications

• Graduate in any discipline.
• MBA/PGDM in Supply Chain, Procurement, Operations, or related field will be preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement sourcing and procurement strategies aligned with business requirements.
• Identify, evaluate, and develop new suppliers/vendors.
• Manage end-to-end procurement activities from requirement to delivery.
• Negotiate prices, payment terms, lead times, MOQ, quality, and commercial conditions.
• Maintain strong relationships with existing suppliers and ensure timely supplies.
• Conduct vendor comparison and cost analysis to achieve competitive pricing.
• Coordinate with Merchandising, Production, Warehouse, Quality, Finance, and Stores teams.
• Monitor purchase orders, delivery schedules, stock availability, and supplier performance.
• Ensure procurement is within approved budgets and timelines.
• Develop alternate sources to reduce dependency and supply risks.
• Monitor market trends, raw-material prices, and supplier capabilities.
• Ensure proper documentation, purchase records, and compliance with company procurement policies.
• Track vendor performance based on quality, cost, delivery, and service.
• Resolve vendor-related issues and ensure timely corrective actions.
• Lead cost-saving and value-engineering initiatives.
