Job summary

ENS Group in Tamil Nadu is seeking an experienced procurement professional to manage end-to-end sourcing for industrial operations and property projects. You will clarify specifications, issue RFQs, compare bids, negotiate terms and ensure on-time deliveries.

The role requires building vendor databases, performing due diligence, tracking orders, and maintaining records. Based in West Tambaram, Chennai, you will travel to vendor sites and project locations, applying strong Excel and ERP skills to

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Engineering, Supply Chain, Commerce or relevant discipline.
• Minimum 4 years of direct sourcing and procurement experience in industrial operations.
• Experience in RFQs, comparative statements, negotiation, purchase orders and supplier follow-up.
• Strong Excel, documentation and commercial-analysis capability; ERP exposure preferred.
• Willingness to be based in West Tambaram, Chennai and travel to vendors/sites.

Responsibilities

• Review purchase requests, clarify specifications and issue RFQs for equipment, spares, services, construction materials and operating requirements.
• Prepare technical-commercial comparisons covering price, taxes, delivery, payment terms, warranty, exclusions and total landed cost.
• Negotiate within delegated authority and prepare purchase recommendations and purchase orders for approval.
• Track order acknowledgement, drawings, inspections, dispatch, delivery, documentation, invoices and pending claims until closure.
• Monitor vendor performance, lead times, quality issues, savings and procurement risks through clear trackers and periodic reporting.
