Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience in end-to-end procurement activities including PRs, VRM, SRM, contract drafting and supplier evaluation.

Responsibilities

• Manage procurement activities for Project, CAPEX, OPEX and MRO requirements.
• Source and develop vendors for industrial and warehousing projects.
• Conduct technical and commercial comparisons of quotations.
• Negotiate prices, payment terms and delivery schedules with vendors.
• Prepare, review and draft procurement contracts and agreements.
• Build and maintain Vendor Relationship Management (VRM) and Supplier Relationship Management (SRM).
• Resolve supplier-related issues and manage conflicts effectively.
• Ensure timely closure of all Purchase Requisitions (PRs) across all sites.
• Monitor daily procurement activities and submit MIS and progress reports.
• Coordinate with engineering, project, warehouse and finance teams for procurement execution.
• Lead the purchase department, guide team members and ensure adherence to procurement policies.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining quality and delivery standards.

Job Summary – Purchase (Projects)

We are looking for an experienced Purchase – Projects professional with 7–10 years of experience in project procurement for industrial and warehousing projects. The ideal candidate must hold a B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering and possess strong expertise in CAPEX, OPEX, MRO procurement, contract management, vendor negotiations, and technical bid evaluations.

The candidate will be responsible for managing end-to-end procurement activities, including purchase requisitions, vendor relationship management (VRM), supplier relationship management (SRM), contract drafting, technical comparisons, and conflict resolution. They should ensure timely closure of all purchase requisitions (PRs) across multiple project sites, maintain accurate reporting, and drive cost-effective procurement strategies.

The ideal candidate should have leadership capabilities to manage the department independently, possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, be proactive in decision-making, and be proficient in AutoCAD Viewer for reviewing technical drawings and project documents.
