Job summary

Mudhra Fine Blanc in Tamil Nadu, India seeks a Production Shift Supervisor to plan and monitor daily/shift production per customer requirements. You will allocate manpower, supervise presses and tooling, and ensure correct materials and 5S/quality standards.

Responsibilities include tracking OEE, downtime, scrap, and rework; coordinating with Quality, Maintenance, Tool Room, Stores, PPC, and Dispatch; and driving continuous improvement such as Kaizen and cycle-time reduction.

Responsibilities

• Plan and monitor daily/shift production per customer requirements.
• Allocate manpower and machines per production plan.
• Supervise press machines, progressive tools, compound tools, and related operations.
• Track output, rejection, rework, downtime and productivity.
• Ensure correct material, tool, die and process parameters.
• Maintain FIFO and proper raw-material/finished-goods IDs.
• Coordinate with Tool Room/Maintenance for tool issues.
• Reduce downtime, rejection and material wastage.
• Ensure first-piece approval and quality adherence.
• Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, Tool Room, Stores, PPC, Dispatch.
• Maintain shift production and downtime reports.
• Ensure 5S, housekeeping, PPE and safety compliance.
• Train and guide operators to raise productivity.
• Conduct shift handover with pending issues.
• Take corrective action for production and quality problems.
• Support Kaizen and cycle-time reduction initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with company procedures and IATF quality.
• KPIs: daily production, OEE, rejection, scrap, 5S, customer issues.

• Monitor production output, rejection, rework, downtime, and productivity.
• Ensure correct material, tool, die, and process parameters are used.
• Ensure FIFO and proper raw-material/finished-goods identification.
• Monitor tool condition and coordinate with Tool Room/Maintenance for breakdowns and tool issues.
• Reduce machine downtime, rejection, and material wastage.
• Ensure first-piece approval and adherence to quality standards.
• Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, Tool Room, Stores, PPC, and Dispatch teams.
• Maintain shift production reports, rejection reports, downtime reports, and other required records.
• Ensure 5S, housekeeping, PPE, and all safety requirements are followed.
• Train and guide operators and improve operator productivity.
• Conduct shift handover with proper information on pending production, quality issues, breakdowns, and tools.
• Take immediate corrective action for production and quality problems.
• Support continuous improvement activities such as Kaizen, productivity improvement, scrap reduction, and cycle-time reduction.
• Ensure compliance with company procedures and IATF/quality-system requirements.
