Job summary

Ciel HR in Faridabad district, Haryana, seeks an experienced Production Planner for a press shop environment. You will coordinate scheduling, planning and expediting of all press shop production activities, ensuring product and process quality during development and regular production.

Responsibilities include preparing loading plans, monitoring shift performance, SAP data entry, driving productivity and process improvements, minimizing rework, maintaining 5-S and KAIZEN, and ensuring FIFO

Qualifications

• Experience in a press shop environment, including TRF/Robotic lines.
• Strong planning and scheduling skills with expediting responsibilities.
• Hands-on with production quality during development and regular production.
• Knowledge of Kaizen, 5-S and continuous improvement.
• Proficient with SAP data entry and MS Office tools.

Responsibilities

• Schedule, plan and expedite all press shop production activities.
• Prepare loading plans and monitor daily/ monthly capacity loading.
• Analyze shift performance: productivity, downtime, rejects, SAP entries.
• Drive productivity and process improvements; implement corrective actions.
• Minimize rework/rejects and ensure FIFO inventory traceability.
• Maintain 5-S/KAIZEN environment and train operators in best practices.
• Capitalize on capacity planning and line balancing to meet customer demand.

Job description

• Experience of Press shop with TRF (Transfer) & Robotic TDM (Tandem) line
• Responsible for Scheduling, Planning and expediting of all Press Shop Production related activities.

(TRF & Robotic TDM Line)

• To Ensure the Product & Process Quality during development of new Products and Regular Production.
• Preparation & Review of all Production System Procedures, Operation Standards & Formats.
• Experience in green field projects for stamping division.
• Production Planning with PPC & execution according to the requirements of customers.
• Overall responsibility of the shop for production with quality and accountable for proper utilization of man,

machine, & material.

• Prepare daily Loading plan considering Work in Process components & monthly loading plan.
• Analyze shift performance covering productivity, machine down time, product rejection data, SAP entry etc.

& initiate productivity & process improvement.

• Analysis of any major as well as minor nonconformance of components & take corrective & preventive action

to avoid the problem.

• Responsible for minimizing rejection & rework at shop floor & customer end.
• Achieving productivity improvement and eliminating nonvalue added operation.
• Maintaining 5-S, KAIZEN environment in the shop by imparting awareness & training to employees.
• Ensure optimum inventory level and traceability of material through FIFO systems.
• Good Knowledge/command of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet & Email.
• Maintaining daily management information system.
• Capacity planning and line balancing.
