Job summary

Layam is seeking a manufacturing operations professional in India to oversee daily production planning, monitor targets and reject data, and drive continuous improvement initiatives for productivity and quality. The role emphasizes 5S/kaizen practices, shop floor discipline and manpower handling.

The candidate will ensure SOP compliance, apply key QC tools (7QC, 8D, TPM, OEE) and prepare daily production reports detailing machine, operator, time, output, performance and losses.

• Daily meeting with the operators, related to target and rejection.
• Supporting continuous improvement activities to enhance productivity and quality
• Knowledge of 5s kaizen,poka - yoke, shop floor discipline and productivity improvement technique.
• Knowledge of manpower handling.
• Responsible for making daily production plan according to customer requirement.
• Monitor production planning and control activities within the organization.
• Ensure implementation of standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Know about 7QC Tool, 8D, 4M, TPM, OEE, 3M
• Daily production report (Machine, operator, time, output, performance, losses).
• Ensuring implementation and maintenance of 5S and safety systems at the workplace
