Job summary

Universal Contractors And Engineers Limited is seeking an experienced Planning Engineer in Jodhpur, India, to lead project planning, scheduling, progress monitoring and reporting for EPC/building construction projects.

You will prepare and maintain schedules using Primavera P6 and MS Project, develop baselines and look-ahead schedules, track critical path, generate S-curves and MIS reports, and coordinate with engineering, procurement, QA/QC, and construction teams to keep projects on track.

Qualifications

• Experience in planning and scheduling for EPC/building construction projects.
• Proficient in Primavera P6 and MS Project.
• Ability to develop baselines, master and look-ahead schedules.
• Experience with S-Curves, MIS reporting, and dashboards.
• Strong Excel skills for data analysis.
• Knowledge of critical path analysis and delay recovery.
• Experience coordinating with multiple project teams.
• Tracking manpower, procurement, and drawings.
• Ability to conduct progress review meetings.
• Experience in project controls and forecasting.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain project schedules using Primavera P6 and MS Project.

• Monitor planned vs. actual progress and update schedules regularly.
• Prepare S-Curves, progress reports, MIS, dashboards, and manpower histograms.
• Track critical path, milestones, delays, and schedule deviations.
• Prepare recovery/catch-up plans and support delay analysis/EOT documentation.
• Coordinate with construction, engineering, procurement, commercial, QA/QC, MEP, and subcontractor teams.
• Monitor manpower, resources, procurement, drawings, and material schedules.
• Conduct progress review meetings and track action points.
• Support project forecasting, risk identification, and overall project controls.
