Job summary

Lloyds Steels is seeking a Planning Engineer to develop, monitor, and control project schedules for engineering and manufacturing initiatives. You will plan activities, track progress, and coordinate with cross-functional departments to ensure timely execution of projects.

You will prepare MIS reports and dashboards, manage resource planning and manpower deployment, and maintain schedules and planning records. Proficiency in Primavera P6 or MS Project and SAP is expected.

Qualifications

• Experience in planning engineering/manufacturing projects.
• Proficient in Primavera P6 or MS Project.
• Strong coordination with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to prepare MIS reports and dashboards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed project schedules and work plans using planning software such as Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project.
• Monitor project progress against the baseline schedule and identify delays or deviations.
• Coordinate with Design, Production, Procurement, Quality, and Project teams to ensure smooth execution of activities.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly project progress reports.
• Track engineering, procurement, manufacturing, inspection, and dispatch activities.
• Analyze project performance and recommend corrective actions to recover schedule delays.
• Conduct project review meetings and update stakeholders on project status.
• Maintain project documentation, schedules, and planning records.
• Prepare resource planning and manpower deployment schedules.
• Coordinate with customers and internal teams regarding project timelines and milestones.
• Support project execution by ensuring adherence to contractual delivery schedules.
• Prepare MIS reports and dashboards for management review.
• Strong knowledge on SAP Software.
