Job summary

Amara Raja Infra is seeking a Project Planning professional to prepare and manage Master, Baseline, and Detailed Project Schedules using Primavera P6 or MS Project. The role involves collecting progress data from multiple sites and tracking Planned vs Actual progress to ensure timely project delivery.

You will support CPM analysis, schedule variance, and the preparation of MIS dashboards, coordinating with PMs, site teams, and procurement to maintain up-to-date planning data and reporting.

Qualifications

• Experience in Project Planning, Scheduling, and Progress Monitoring in EPC/Construction projects.
• Hands-on use of Primavera P6 and/or MS Project for scheduling and tracking.
• Strong understanding of WBS, CPM, baseline schedules, and progress measurement.
• Knowledge of Project Monitoring and Project MIS.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint; Power BI is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with Project Managers, Site Planning Engineers, Execution, Engineering, Procurement, and QS teams.
• Ensure timely submission of planning data from sites.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing and updating Master Schedules, Baseline Schedules, and Detailed Project Schedules.
• Develop and update project schedules using Primavera P6 and/or MS Project.
• Collect and consolidate project progress data from multiple project and site teams.
• Track Planned vs. Actual Progress, project milestones, and key deliverables.
• Monitor project schedules and identify potential delays and deviations.
• Assist in preparing Recovery Plans and Catch-up Schedules for delayed activities.
• Support Critical Path Analysis and Schedule Variance Analysis.
• Prepare Daily, Weekly, and Monthly Progress Reports and MIS.
• Maintain and update project planning trackers, dashboards, and databases.
• Coordinate with Project Managers, Site Planning Engineers, Execution, Engineering, Procurement, and QS teams for progress updates.
• Ensure timely and accurate submission of planning data from project sites.
• Assist in preparing management presentations and consolidated project dashboards.
• Participate in project review meetings and follow up on action points.
• Support the implementation of standardized planning formats, templates, and reporting systems across projects.
• Identify project risks, bottlenecks, and delays and elevate them to the concerned team.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Minimum 2-4 years of experience in Project Planning, Scheduling, and Progress Monitoring.
• Experience in EPC, Construction, Infrastructure, Industrial, Building, or Heavy Engineering projects is preferred.
• Hands-on experience in Primavera P6 and/or MS Project is preferred.
• Good understanding of WBS, CPM, Critical Path, Baseline Schedule, and Progress Measurement.
• Knowledge of Project Monitoring and Project MIS.
• Good proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint.
• Knowledge of Power BI will be an added advantage.
• Experience in coordinating with multiple project/site teams will be preferred.
• Strong analytical, communication, coordination, and reporting skills.
