Job summary

Amara Raja Infra in Hyderabad is seeking an experienced Project Planner to lead scheduling and planning across EPC and construction projects. You will prepare master, baseline, and detailed schedules using Primavera P6 and MS Project, and monitor progress from site planning teams.

• Experience in EPC/Construction/Infrastructure projects preferred.
• Strong knowledge of CPM, WBS, Baseline Schedule, Progress Measurement, and Recovery Planning.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and monitor master schedules, baseline schedules, and detailed project schedules.
• Develop and update schedules using Primavera P6 and MS Project.
• Monitor multiple EPC and construction projects from the Central/Corporate Planning Office.
• Collect and consolidate project progress data from site planning teams.
• Track Planned vs. Actual Progress, milestones, and critical activities.
• Perform Critical Path Analysis, Delay Analysis, and Schedule Variance Analysis.
• Identify delays, risks, and bottlenecks and escalate to stakeholders.
• Support Recovery Plans and Catch-up Schedules.
• Prepare and present Daily, Weekly, and Monthly Project MIS and dashboards.
• Coordinate with Project Managers, Planning Engineers, Execution, Engineering, Procurement, QS, and others.
• Standardize planning formats, progress measurement, and reporting across projects.
• Participate in project review meetings and provide planning inputs to management.
• Support planning SOPs, templates, and best practices.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and monitor Master Schedules, Baseline Schedules, and Detailed Project Schedules.
• Develop and update project schedules using Primavera P6 and/or MS Project.
• Monitor multiple EPC and construction projects from the Central/Corporate Planning Office.
• Collect and consolidate project progress data from site planning teams.
• Track Planned vs. Actual Progress, key milestones, and critical activities.
• Perform Critical Path Analysis, Delay Analysis, and Schedule Variance Analysis.
• Identify project delays, risks, and bottlenecks and escalate them to the concerned stakeholders.
• Support project teams in preparing Recovery Plans and Catch-up Schedules.
• Prepare and present Daily, Weekly, and Monthly Project MIS and Management Dashboards.
• Coordinate with Project Managers, Planning Engineers, Execution, Engineering, Procurement, QS, and other project stakeholders.
• Standardize planning formats, progress measurement systems, and reporting mechanisms across projects.
• Participate in project review meetings and provide planning-related inputs to management.
• Support the development and implementation of planning SOPs, templates, and best practices.
• Ensure accuracy, consistency, and timely submission of project planning data.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Minimum 5-8 years of experience in Project Planning and Project Controls.
• Experience in EPC, Construction, Infrastructure, Industrial, Building, or Heavy Engineering projects is preferred.
• Strong hands‑on experience in Primavera P6 and/or MS Project is mandatory.
• Good understanding of WBS, CPM, Critical Path, Baseline Schedule, Progress Measurement, and Recovery Planning.
• Strong knowledge of Project Monitoring, Delay Analysis, and Project MIS.
• Proficiency in Advanced MS Excel and PowerPoint.
• Knowledge of Power BI will be an added advantage.
• Experience in handling or monitoring multiple projects simultaneously will be preferred.
• Strong analytical, communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
