Job summary

WTP Cost Management in Bengaluru seeks a Civil Planning Engineer with 8–10 years of experience to lead project planning, scheduling, and progress monitoring for civil construction projects. You will develop baseline programs, define milestones, and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.

The role requires strong knowledge of Primavera P6, MS Project, AutoCAD and Advanced Excel, plus solid skills in KPI dashboards, reporting, and earned value management.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years of experience in civil/project planning and scheduling.
• Proficiency in Primavera P6 and MS Project for baseline and tracking.
• Experience with P6/EVM and critical path analysis.
• Advanced excel for dashboards and progress tracking.
• Strong communication and coordination with multidisciplinary teams.
• Knowledge of construction methodologies and resource planning.
• Experience in cost control and progress reporting.
• Ability to prepare daily/weekly/monthly progress reports.
• Familiarity with Earned Value Management and S-curves.
• Proactive in risk identification and mitigation.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed schedules using Primavera P6/MS Project.

• Plan manpower, materials, and equipment deployment.
• Define milestones and critical activities.
• Track progress and monitor productivity and resource use.

• Prepare detailed project schedules using Primavera P6/MS Project.
• Develop baseline programs, work breakdown structures (WBS), and construction methodologies.
• Prepare manpower, material, and equipment deployment plans.
• Define project milestones and critical activities

Project Monitoring & Control

• Track project progress against approved schedules.
• Monitor productivity, resource utilization, and project performance.
• Conduct critical path analysis and identify schedule risks.
• Implement corrective actions to address project delays.

Progress Reporting

• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
• Generate S-curves, dashboards, and progress tracking reports.
• Present project status updates to management and clients.
• Maintain project documentation and planning records.
