Job summary

Nandivardhan Group is seeking an experienced Planning Engineer to lead project planning, scheduling and monitoring for real estate and construction projects in Thane. You will coordinate with Project Managers, site teams and external stakeholders to ensure timely completion.

The role requires strong Primavera P6/MS Project skills, expertise in MS Excel, and a proven ability to manage complex, high-rise or large-scale residential projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's/Diploma in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in Planning.
• Experience in residential and/or high-rise projects preferred.
• Proficiency in Primavera P6 and/or MS Project.
• Good knowledge of MS Excel and project reporting.
• Strong scheduling and critical path analysis skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain detailed project schedules and timelines.
• Monitor progress against baseline and identify delays.
• Coordinate with Project Managers, Site Engineers, Contractors, Consultants and Architects.
• Prepare daily/weekly/monthly progress reports and dashboards.
• Track milestones, dependencies and critical paths.
• Analyse delays and prepare recovery plans.
• Monitor manpower and material requirements with the project team.
• Prepare look-ahead schedules and track progress vs. plan.
• Maintain project documentation and planning records.
• Conduct regular site visits to verify progress.
• Assist in risk identification and corrective actions.
• Prepare presentations for management review.

Role & responsibilities

We are looking for an experienced Planning Engineer with a minimum of 7 years of experience in real estate and construction projects. The candidate will be responsible for project planning, scheduling, monitoring, and coordination to ensure timely completion of projects as per approved timelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain detailed project schedules, construction programs, and timelines.
• Monitor project progress against the approved baseline schedule and identify delays or deviations.
• Coordinate with Project Managers, Site Engineers, Contractors, Consultants, Architects, and other stakeholders.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports and management dashboards.
• Track project milestones, activities, dependencies, and critical paths.
• Analyse delays and prepare recovery plans to ensure timely project completion.
• Monitor manpower, material, and resource requirements in coordination with the project team.
• Prepare look-ahead schedules and track planned vs. actual progress.
• Coordinate with various departments to ensure smooth execution of construction activities.
• Maintain project documentation, planning records, and progress reports.
• Conduct regular site visits to verify actual progress against the planned schedule.
• Assist in identifying project risks and potential delays and recommend corrective actions.
• Prepare presentations and reports for management review.
• Ensure project activities are aligned with overall project objectives, approved drawings, and execution plans.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's/Diploma degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
• Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in Planning, preferably with a reputed real estate/construction company.
• Strong experience in residential and/or high-rise building projects will be preferred.
• Proficiency in Primavera P6 and/or MS Project.
• Good knowledge of MS Excel and project reporting.
• Strong understanding of construction activities, project scheduling, and critical path analysis.
• Ability to analyse project delays and develop effective recovery schedules.
• Strong coordination, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and coordinate effectively with multiple stakeholders.

Preferred Experience

Candidates with experience in large-scale residential projects, high-rise buildings, redevelopment projects, or multiple ongoing real estate projects will be preferred.
