Job summary

Axis My India is seeking a Business Operations Manager to oversee and optimize the companys operational processes from its Mumbai office. The role involves aligning strategies with business goals, improving efficiency, and coordinating across Finance, HR, Sales, and IT to ensure seamless operations.

The candidate will lead cross-functional teams, implement best practices, and drive continuous improvement while maintaining compliance with policies and regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, operations management, or related field.
• MBA is preferred.
• 5–9 years of experience in operations management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement operational strategies that align with Axis My India’s goals.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings.
• Oversee day-to-day operations to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
• Streamline workflows to increase productivity and reduce costs.

The Business Operations Manager is responsible foroverseeing and optimizing the company's operational processes. This roleinvolves managing resources, developing strategies to improve efficiency, andensuring that all departments work cohesively towards the organization's goals.The Business Operations Manager will collaborate with various teams toimplement best practices, resolve operational issues, and drive continuousimprovement.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement operational strategies that align with the company's goals.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings.

ProcessManagement:

• Oversee day-to-day operations to ensure thatbusiness functions are efficient and effective.
• Streamline workflows to improve productivity andreduce operational costs.
• Monitor and analyze operational metrics to ensuretargets are met.

ResourceAllocation:

• Manage resources, including personnel, equipment,and budgets, to maximize operational efficiency.
• Coordinate with department heads to ensure optimalallocation of resources

TeamLeadership:

• Lead and mentor operations teams, providing guidance and support to achieve department goals.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement andaccountability.

ProjectManagement:

• Plan, execute, and oversee projects aimed atimproving business operations.
• Ensure projects are completed on time, withinbudget, and meet quality standards.
• Work closely with other departments such asFinance, HR, Sales, and IT to ensure seamless operations.
• Act as a liaison between operations and otherdepartments to resolve issues and improve communication.

Complianceand Risk Management:

• Ensure that all operations comply with companypolicies, industry regulations, and legal requirements.
• Identify and mitigate operational risks.

Reportingand Analysis:

• Prepare and present regular reports on operationalperformance to senior management.
• Use data-driven insights to recommend and implementimprovements.

Vendorand Supplier Management:

• Manage relationships with vendors and suppliers toensure quality and cost-effectiveness.
• Negotiate contracts and agreements to benefit thecompany.
• Oversee customer service operations to ensure a high level of customersatisfaction.
• Implement systems to handle customer feedback and improve servicedelivery.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, OperationsManagement, or a related field. A master’s degree or MBA is preferred.

Experience: 5 to 9 years of experience in operations management, with atleast 3 years in a leadership role.

Skills:

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Customer Service and Satisfaction:

Excellent leadership and team management skills.

Proficient in project management methodologies.

Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Knowledge of business software and tools (e.g., ERP, CRM).

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Certifications: Relevant certifications such as PMP (Project ManagementProfessional), Six Sigma, or Lean Management are advantageous.
