Job summary

Tekskills Inc. in Delhi invites an experienced Application Support Lead to oversee 24/7 cloud-enabled application support and incident management. You will guide a team, coordinate releases, and ensure swift resolution of outages for Azure-based services.

The role requires strong communication with senior business stakeholders, crisis management skills, and a proactive approach to preventing incidents. Certification in cloud operations is a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience in application support and incident/problem management.
• Experience leading a team and building a skilled support team.
• Strong understanding of Azure services: ADF, ADLS, SQL, Azure Monitor, Application Insights, Azure Functions.
• Familiar with APIs and API implementations; comfortable troubleshooting Azure service issues.
• Azure/cloud certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide 24/7 application support and coordinate weekend releases.
• Troubleshoot and coordinate for Azure service issues as needed.
• Communicate complex technical issues to senior business stakeholders.
• Act as incident and crisis manager to resolve outages under pressure.

Job description

• Candidate should have solid experience in providing application support and well versed with Incident/problem management. Should be experienced in leading a team and help in building a team equipped with the skills/knowledge to support Cloud enabled applications.


• Good understanding around Azure services like ADF, ADLS, SQL, Azure Monitor, Application Insights, Azure functions. Should be comfortable around APIs and their implementation. Should be comfortable in troubleshooting/coordinating for any service issues on Azure. Certification encompassing this is good to have.


• Application support will be 24/7 and releases scheduled for weekends so the candidate should be flexible regarding timings and weekend support as required at times.


• Good communication skills and can explain complex technical issues to senior business stakeholders. Proven incident & crisis manager who works well under pressure.
