Job summary

UltraTech Cement, Northeast regional offices, is hiring for the role of Area Manager, Tech Cust Solutions. The successful candidate will lead technical customer solutions, coordinate product samples and demonstrations, and support brand promotion activities.

You will also handle complaints, analyze quality issues with R&D as needed, and maintain MIS reports to inform stakeholders. BE Civil/Chem/B.Tech Civil with 2–6 years’ experience preferred.

Qualifications

• BE Civil/Chem/B.Tech Civil required.
• 2–6 years of work experience.
• Experience in technical customer solutions or field service preferred.

Responsibilities

• Samples & Demonstrations: ensure execution of sample requests within 48 hours and verify quality.
• Product Awareness & Presentations: create awareness through technical presentations and customer interactions.
• Complaint Handling: attend complaints on the same day and coordinate with R&D for investigation.
• MIS & Competitor Intelligence: maintain MIS reports and report market developments and competitor updates.

Job Description:

Samples & Demonstrations of Products

• Ensure execution of all product sample requests received from the Marketing team within 48 hours under normal conditions.
• Verify the quality and application performance of samples after execution.
• Coordinate with contractors and dealers and manage related documentation/bills.

Product Awareness & Presentations

• Create product awareness through technical presentations and customer interactions.
• Demonstrate product features, benefits, and applications during customer meetings.
• Support customer engagement and brand promotion activities.

Complaint Handling

• Attend customer complaints on the same day and ensure prompt action.
• Coordinate with the R&D team for investigation of quality-related complaints.
• Verify application-related issues and provide resolution

MIS & Competitor Intelligence

• Maintain MIS reports related to technical services activities.
• Gather and report competitor information, new products, and market developments on an ongoing basis.
• Share market insights and competitor updates with relevant stakeholders.
