Job summary

Westway Electronics in Uttar Pradesh, Greater Noida, is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Manager responsible for keeping moulding, assembly and utility machines running reliably with minimum downtime. The role combines machine maintenance, spare-parts planning, vendor management, team leadership and HR coordination.

You will maintain injection moulding equipment, achieve high uptime, manage budgets, and drive safety and process improvements in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in operation and maintenance of injection moulding equipment.
• Ability to manage a technical team and coordinate with HR and production.
• Experience in cost budgeting and maintenance planning.

Responsibilities

• Maintain injection moulding machines, moulds, assembly lines, conveyors, compressors, chillers, dryers and utilities.
• Achieve 95%+ machine uptime.
• Ensure 100% preventive maintenance is completed on time.
• Manage breakdowns quickly and conduct RCA for recurring problems.
• Improve MTBF and reduce MTTR.
• Work with Production to minimise downtime and improve productivity.
• Identify opportunities for automation and machine improvements.
• Identify critical spares and maintain adequate stock.
• Plan purchases before parts are urgently required.
• Develop reliable maintenance vendors.
• Reduce emergency purchases and dependency on single suppliers.
• Prepare maintenance budgets and track costs.
• Maintain proper maintenance records and reports.
• Plan shifts and manpower deployment.
• Train the team in troubleshooting and safety.

• Machine Maintenance
• Maintain injection moulding machines, moulds, assembly lines, conveyors, compressors, chillers, dryers and utilities.

• Ensure safe maintenance practices and LOTO (Lockout/Tagout).
• Ensure electrical, mechanical and utility equipment is safe to operate.
• Stop operation of machines presenting serious safety risks.
