Job summary

Vaaman Engineers (I) Ltd. is looking for a MIS & Maintenance Planning Engineer to manage maintenance planning, MIS reporting, manpower planning, resource planning and shutdown planning at client sites in Lanjigarh, Odisha.

The role requires strong experience in maintenance planning, MIS, PM/LLF compliance, manpower planning, resource management, shutdown reporting and KPI tracking. Selected candidate will handle daily, weekly and monthly MIS reporting, plan PM/CBM/LLF/CM activities, ensure

Qualifications

• B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
• 5 - 7 years of relevant experience in maintenance planning and MIS.
• Experience in Aluminium, Refinery, Steel, Metals or Process Industries preferred.
• Strong hands-on experience in MIS preparation, maintenance planning and manpower planning.
• Good knowledge of PM, CBM, LLF, CM and shutdown planning.
• Knowledge of SAP PM will be an added advantage.
• Willingness to work in a plant / site environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain Daily, Weekly and Monthly MIS reports.
• Prepare DMR, DPR, shutdown and maintenance performance reports.
• Plan daily manpower and maintenance jobs as per plant requirements.
• Plan PM, CBM, LLF, CM, Shutdown and Breakdown Maintenance activities.
• Ensure availability of manpower, tools, tackles, consumables and MHE.
• Monitor PM/LLF compliance, job progress and resource utilization.
• Coordinate with area engineers and supervisors for effective job planning.
• Track shutdown progress and prepare shutdown MIS / progress reports.
• Monitor maintenance KPIs, overtime and manpower utilization.
• Coordinate MHE requirements and ensure availability as per planned jobs.
• Maintain maintenance records, reports and documentation.
• Support 5S, Kaizen and Continuous Improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with applicable safety and maintenance standards.
