Job summary

Quest Global in Bengaluru seeks an experienced Maintenance Planning professional to support the maintenance of rotating and static equipment. You will create work packs, SMPs and manage preventive and predictive maintenance with SAP PM/MM to track history and parts usage.

The role requires strong fundamentals in mechanical/electrical engineering, P&ID interpretation, and the ability to coordinate with stakeholders. A data-driven approach to CI/PI ideas is valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Strong engineering fundamentals and practical maintenance experience.
• 8–12 years in refinery/oil and gas/power/chemical industries.
• Experience collaborating with customers and stakeholders.
• Ability to drive process improvements and cost savings (CI/PI).
• Proficiency in SAP PM/MM for maintenance history, planning, and master data.

Responsibilities

• Remotely support maintenance planning for rotating and static equipment.
• Create work packs and SMPs for static and rotating equipment.
• Plan preventive, predictive and breakdown maintenance; record history.
• Review P&ID, Isometrics, and drawings; manage documentation.
• Utilize SAP PM/MM for maintenance items, plans, and work orders.

Job description

Key Responsibilities

• Remotely support of Maintenance Planning of rotating equipment and static equipment.

Create job packages (work packs) Job procedure/Standard Maintenance procedures (SMP) of static and rotating equipment.

Plan all the maintenance activities such as preventive, predictive & breakdown maintenance and record history of maintenance activity.

Understand/review P&ID, Isometric Drawing, Equipment drawing, Civil Foundation Drawing, 3-D Model, Plot Plan, Lay out, Equipment GA drawing etc.Working on PM & MM modules of SAP to maintain the equipment history, material reservation, Consumption, Master data management, Preparing task lists, maintenance items/ maintenance plan, task list enhancement, work order planning etc.

Piping knowledge: Pipe fabrication/erection according to P&ID and Isometric drawing, support drawings, piping specs etc.

Work Experience

1. Bachelor Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering
2. Strong Engineering Fundamentals
3. 8-12 Years of Experience in either of the industries - (Refinery,Oil and gas,Power generation, Steel plant, Edible oil production, Big pharma industries, Mining industry, Pesticide / Agro chemical production, Marine maintenance)
4. Experience in working with cutomers/stakeholders
5. Work with team in generating process improvement and cost saving through CI/PI ideas
6. Provide weekly/monthly status reports to relevant stakeholders
7. In depth exposure on Process Knowledge
8. Strong knowledge in Operations and Maintenance
9. Expertise in Maintenance of Rotary & Static Equipment
10. Expert in reading all the documentation like P& ID, Layout drawings & Isometrics
11. Good written and verbal communications
