Job summary

Dgtra Consultancy in Kerala, Ernakulam, is seeking a BIM MEP Engineer with 2–4 years of BIM/MEP modeling experience to join our project teams.

You will develop and maintain MEP BIM models in Revit, coordinate with architects and structural teams, perform clash detection, prepare 2D drawings in AutoCAD, and ensure timely delivery per standards.

Strong knowledge of Revit MEP, Navisworks, AutoCAD, and BIM workflows, plus good communication and teamwork, are essential.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of BIM/MEP modeling and coordination experience
• Strong reading of MEP, architectural, and structural drawings
• Familiarity with BIM workflows and coordination processes
• Good communication, teamwork and time-management skills

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain accurate MEP BIM models using Revit per project requirements and standards
• Prepare and update MEP layouts, detailed drawings, and construction/shop drawings
• Perform BIM coordination and clash detection using Navisworks and resolve clashes
• Coordinate MEP services with architectural and structural models
• Review drawings to identify design, coordination, and constructability issues
• Prepare and modify 2D drawings using AutoCAD when required
• Ensure models and drawings are accurate, coordinated, and delivered on time
• Coordinate with project engineers, architects, consultants and team members
• Follow BIM standards, modeling guidelines, naming conventions, and documentation procedures
• Maintain model quality and support delivery of project milestones

BIM MEP Engineer

Qualification: B.Tech / B.E. in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil Engineering, or related field

Roles & Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain accurate MEP BIM models using Autodesk Revit as per project requirements and standards.
• Prepare and update MEP layouts, detailed drawings, and construction/shop drawings.
• Perform BIM coordination and clash detection using Navisworks and coordinate with other disciplines to resolve clashes.
• Coordinate MEP services with Architectural, Structural, and other engineering models.
• Review drawings and models to identify design, coordination, and constructability issues.
• Prepare and modify 2D drawings using AutoCAD when required.
• Ensure models and drawings are accurate, coordinated, and delivered within project timelines.
• Coordinate with project engineers, architects, consultants, and other team members to ensure smooth project execution.
• Follow project BIM standards, modeling guidelines, naming conventions, and documentation procedures.
• Maintain proper model quality and support the team in achieving project deliverables and deadlines.

Requirements

• B.Tech / B.E. in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• 24 years of relevant experience in BIM/MEP modeling and coordination.
• Good working knowledge of Revit MEP, Navisworks, and AutoCAD.
• Good understanding of MEP systems and BIM coordination workflows.
• Ability to read and understand MEP, architectural, and structural drawings.
• Good communication, teamwork, and time-management skills.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deliver work within project deadlines.
• Knowledge of BIM 360 / Autodesk Construction Cloud, Dynamo, or other BIM tools will be an added advantage.
