Job summary

Intrados Designs in Kolkata is seeking an experienced MEP BIM Manager to lead BIM projects, manage modeling and coordination activities, and ensure timely delivery. You will manage BIM teams, coordinate with stakeholders, handle USA clients, and ensure that deliverables meet technical and client requirements.

The role requires hands-on knowledge of Revit MEP, Navisworks, and BIM coordination workflows, with a focus on MEP fabrication and shop drawings for US-based projects.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage MEP BIM projects from project initiation through final delivery.
• Manage, guide, and review the work of MEP BIM Modelers.
• Develop and review detailed MEP models using Revit MEP.
• Coordinate HVAC, Plumbing, Fire Protection, Electrical, and other MEP services.
• Conduct and manage clash detection and coordination using Navisworks.
• Review shop drawings, fabrication drawings, and construction documentation.
• Coordinate with architects, structural teams, contractors, fabricators, and other stakeholders.
• Communicate directly with USA clients regarding project requirements, technical issues, progress, and deliverables.
• Ensure BIM models comply with project standards, LOD requirements, and client specifications.
• Monitor project progress, quality, and delivery schedules.
• Identify technical challenges and provide BIM-based solutions.
• Conduct quality checks before submission to clients.
• Support the development and implementation of BIM standards, workflows, templates, and best practices.
• Conduct technical reviews and provide guidance to team members.
• Participate in client meetings, coordination meetings, and technical presentations.
