Job summary

Td Engg, a multidisciplinary Engineering Consultancy in Chennai, is looking for a skilled MEP BIM Modeler. The role involves creating and maintaining accurate MEP BIM models using Revit MEP while ensuring compliance with project standards and specifications. Candidates should have a strong background in MEP systems and relevant software.

The ideal candidate must possess a BE/B.Tech in Mechanical/EEE/ECE and have a minimum of 4 years of experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4+ Years of experience in MEP BIM Modeling.
• Strong understanding of BIM standards and coordination processes.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.

Job description

Job Responsibilities:

• Create, develop, and maintain accurate MEP BIM models using Revit MEP.
• Prepare Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing models as per project requirements, standards, and client specifications.
• Coordinate with internal design teams, consultants, and project stakeholders for smooth project execution.
• Perform clash detection and coordination using Navisworks and resolve model conflicts.
• Produce BIM deliverables including layouts, shop drawings, sections, schedules, and detailed drawings.
• Ensure BIM standards, LOD requirements, and company drafting practices are followed throughout the project lifecycle.
• Update and modify BIM models based on design revisions and project changes.
• Support project teams in quantity extraction, model review, and technical coordination activities.
• Maintain documentation and ensure timely completion of assigned deliverables.

Required Skills:

• Strong experience in Revit MEP Modeling.
• Good knowledge of MEP Systems – HVAC, Electrical & Plumbing.
• Hands-on experience in Navisworks, AutoCAD, and BIM workflows.
• Understanding of BIM standards, coordination process, and clash detection.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documents.
• Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.

Experience requirement:

• Minimum 4+ Years of experience in MEP BIM Modeling (Mandatory).

Educational Qualification:

• BE / B.Tech – Mechanical / EEE / ECE only.
