Job summary

Green-CAD IT Consulting Pvt Ltd in Kolkata invites a BIM Engineer to develop and maintain MEP BIM models using Revit MEP, and to prepare detailed 3D models, construction drawings and GFC drawings.

You will model HVAC, Plumbing, Fire Fighting and Electrical systems, coordinate with architectural and structural teams, participate in clash detection, review for accuracy, and ensure deliverables meet project timelines and standards.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Autodesk Revit MEP required.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD and 4D/5D BIM is an advantage.
• Understanding BIM QA/QC processes and project standards.
• Strong coordination and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain MEP BIM models using Revit MEP.
• Prepare 3D BIM models, construction drawings and GFC drawings.
• Model MEP systems including HVAC, Plumbing, Fire Fighting and Electrical, as applicable to the project.
• Coordinate MEP models with Architectural and Structural models.
• Participate in clash detection and BIM coordination activities.
• Review models and drawings for accuracy, completeness and compliance with project requirements.
• Incorporate revisions and comments received from clients and consultants.
• Follow project BIM standards, modelling guidelines and QA/QC procedures.
• Coordinate with BIM Engineers, BIM Coordinators, Architects, Structural Engineers and other project stakeholders.
• Ensure project deliverables are completed within agreed timelines.
• Maintain project documentation and BIM-related records.
• Support quantity take-offs, BOQ-related activities and other project documentation when required.

Preferred candidate profile

• Knowledge of BIM QA/QC processes and project standards.

• Ability to work independently as well as within a multidisciplinary team.
