Boltcargo India Private Limited seeks an Ocean Pricing Manager to develop and execute competitive pricing across import, export, cross-trade and project cargo. You will negotiate with shipping lines, NVOCCs and overseas agents, ensuring accurate quotations and healthy margins. Strong knowledge of global markets and lane dynamics is essential.

You will work with internal sales/operations to deliver fast responses to RFQs and customer inquiries while leveraging pricing tools and large datasets.

Qualifications

• 6–10 years of experience in ocean freight pricing/procurement.
• Strong FCL pricing experience.
• Good knowledge of major global trade lanes.
• Strong understanding of shipping-line tariffs and local charges.
• Experience negotiating with shipping lines/NVOCCs.
• Experience handling customer RFQs and tenders.
• Strong commercial and analytical skills.
• Excellent Excel skills and ability to work with large pricing datasets.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

Job Description:

The Ocean Pricing Manager will be responsible for developing, negotiating, managing, and executing competitive ocean freight pricing strategies across import, export, cross-trade, and project cargo movements.

The role will manage relationships with shipping lines, NVOCCs, overseas agents, and internal sales/operations teams to ensure competitive buying, accurate quotations, healthy margins, and fast response to RFQs and customer enquiries.

The candidate should have strong knowledge of global ocean freight markets, shipping-line tariffs, local/port charges, free time, equipment availability, surcharges, and trade-lane dynamics.

Requirements

Essential

• 6–10 years of experience in ocean freight pricing/procurement.


• Strong FCL pricing experience.
