Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end finished goods warehouse operations (receiving, storage, picking, packing, dispatch, returns).
• Ensure 100% adherence to customer SLAs and OTIF deliveries.
• Maintain 99.9% inventory accuracy; manage batch-wise, expiry-wise inventory with FEFO/FIFO.

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Manager Pharma Finished Goods Warehouse Operations to lead and manage end-to-end warehouse operations for pharmaceutical finished goods at our Bhopal warehouse. The incumbent will be responsible for inventory management, warehousing, distribution, regulatory compliance, customer service, team management, and operational excellence while ensuring compliance with Good Distribution Practices (GDP) and pharmaceutical regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

Warehouse Operations

• Manage end-to-end finished goods warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, dispatch, and returns.
• Ensure timely order processing and dispatch with 100% adherence to customer SLAs.
• Optimize warehouse space utilization and operational efficiency.
• Monitor warehouse productivity and implement continuous improvement initiatives.

Inventory Management

• Maintain 100% inventory accuracy through cycle counts and physical stock verification.
• Manage batch-wise, lot-wise, and expiry-wise inventory.
• Ensure strict FEFO/FIFO inventory practices.
• Monitor stock ageing, non-moving, slow-moving, and damaged inventory.

Distribution & Customer Service

• Coordinate with transporters and logistics partners for timely deliveries.
• Ensure OTIF (On-Time In-Full) deliveries.
• Manage customer escalations and service performance.

Compliance & Quality

• Ensure compliance with GDP, GMP, SOPs, and pharmaceutical regulatory guidelines.
• Maintain audit readiness for Internal, Customer, WHO-GDP, ISO, and Regulatory audits.
• Ensure proper documentation and record management.
• Maintain temperature mapping and cold-chain compliance for temperature-sensitive products.

Team Management

• Lead warehouse managers, supervisors, inventory executives, and warehouse associates.
• Plan manpower, shifts, productivity, and workforce deployment.
• Conduct performance reviews, coaching, and employee development.

Technology & MIS

• Manage ERP/WMS-based warehouse operations.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports.
• Monitor warehouse KPIs through dashboards.
• Ensure accurate system transactions and inventory reconciliation.

Process Improvement

• Implement Lean Warehouse practices, 5S, Kaizen, and productivity improvement initiatives.
• Drive automation and warehouse optimization projects.
• Identify cost‑saving opportunities while maintaining service quality.

Qualification

• Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm), Life Sciences, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related discipline.
• MBA/PGDM in Supply Chain, Operations, or Logistics preferred.

Experience

• 8-15 years of experience in pharmaceutical finished goods warehouse operations.
• Minimum 5 years in a managerial role.
• Experience managing large warehouse operations and multi-location distribution.
• Strong knowledge of GDP, GMP, FEFO/FIFO, batch management, expiry management, and pharmaceutical compliance.
• Experience handling ERP/WMS platforms such as SAP, Oracle, Manhattan, or Blue Yonder.
• Experience in Government Healthcare, Pharma Distribution, or Large 3PL operations will be an added advantage.
